Big 12 Conference Hosts First-Ever Pro Day

137 Football Prospects Showcase Skills

Event Held at Ford Center at the Star in Frisco, Texas

The Big 12 Conference hosted its first-ever Pro Day from March 27-31, providing a platform for 137 football prospects to showcase their talents before NFL representatives.

The event, held at Ford Center at the Star in Frisco, Texas, included a series of drills and measurements designed to evaluate the prospects' athleticism and skills. Participants performed the 40-yard dash, vertical jump, broad jump, bench press, and other exercises.

Only three quarterbacks participated in the Pro Day, including John Rhys of UCF. Notable absentees included Oklahoma State's Spencer Sanders and Texas' Quinn Ewers, who will participate in the NFL Combine.

The Big 12 and NFL will launch a conference-wide pro day in 2024 at The Star in Frisco. This event will serve as a showcase for the top football prospects in the Big 12, providing them with an opportunity to impress NFL scouts.

The inaugural Big 12 Pro Day was a resounding success, showcasing the depth and talent of the conference's football players. The event provided a valuable opportunity for prospects to enhance their draft prospects and for NFL teams to identify potential future stars.
