Texas Dominates Oklahoma State, Wins Big 12 Title in Final Game

Ewers Throws Four Touchdowns

No. 7 Texas ended its time in the Big 12 on a high note, defeating Oklahoma State 49-21 in the conference championship game Saturday.

The quarterback Quinn Ewers was brilliant for the Longhorns, throwing four touchdown passes in his first-ever appearance in a Big 12 title game.

Xavier Worthy, who caught two touchdowns, was Ewers’ main target. Bijan Robinson also had a strong performance, rushing for 76 yards and a touchdown.

Oklahoma State’s Spencer Sanders threw for 188 yards and a touchdown, but it wasn’t enough to keep up with the Longhorns’ high-powered offense.

The win gives Texas its third Big 12 title in the past five seasons. The Longhorns will move to the SEC next year, so this was their last chance to win a championship in the Big 12.

Oklahoma State will have to settle for a 9-4 record this season. The Cowboys will be looking to bounce back next year and make a run at the Big 12 title.
